Walking Beam Furnaces

In walking hearth furnaces the charge is transferred by the movable hearth part with the stepwise movement from loading side to unloading side.

Walking hearth furnaces are continuous furnaces. They are designed to preheat rolling mills, bars, and plates. It can be used for different dimensions. Depending on the after treatment and assumed process, the production lines for  include many additional devices, such as:
